My Story – A Quick Overview
Axe Throwing Consultancy Ltd is unashamedly a one-man band. Start ups need a flexible, personalised approach, albeit just as professional as for any established business – which is exactly what I provide. It began in 2020, when I quit my job in the corporate business world to pursue my twin passions of axe throwing and building start up businesses.
Prior to 2020, I was mostly consulting for large tech companies in the UK and around the world (some testimonials from that time below). I had also begun to support small businesses and start ups in the UK. Laburinthos Ltd, an escape room busines, was one of the most successful start ups I helped launch.
I was fortunate that the Covid pandemic had little negative impact on me personally. My business consultancy was as busy as ever, mostly online, and the lockdowns did give me more time to pursue my passion for throwing axes. By the end of 2020, pursuing an axe throwing business over corporate machinations was very appealing.
I built an axe throwing business for Laburinthos, from concept in 2021, to an established thriving business by 2023. “Eat Sleep Axe” now contributes an extra 40% revenue to Laburinthos, in addition to it’s escape room business. More details here…
I have gained a wealth of knowledge of the contemporary axe throwing world through researching the best options for running an axe throwing business. I have also learned far more from the hands on experience of developing the Eat Sleep Axe business. I am now enjoying sharing my knowledge and experience with other axe throwing ventures.
